| This Geiger-M ller counter provides an 'acoustic' measurement of radiation levels - the higher the radiation level, the 'faster' the audible output. The counter is most sensitive to high energy gamma and beta radiation. The counter is self-contained, compact, and may be mounted in a small box, together with the 9V battery (not supplied). The battery should provide about two months of continuous use with normal radiation levels. |
